Wet Separator
Wet separators are extraction systems that use water as a filter medium in the main filter stage to separate particles from the extracted air. The process air (particles, dust, aerosol) extracted from machines or workplaces is mixed tangentially with the water in the device and collected as sludge in the discharge.
Wet separators and wet scrubbers from ULMATEC are used in all processes and industries where dry filter systems can only be used to a limited extent or not at all. Our patented devices are mostly used in processes with flying sparks and with wet, sticky, fibrous and often flammable and explosive dusts.
